Installing Remote Shutdown Components
When installing an external shutdown wire, follow the diagram shown below (page 19 of the installation guide). You only need to wire into the parent inverter. Once commissioned in parallel, all inverters will turn off when the circuit is opened. The remote switches should be wired so that when in the on position, the circuit is closed. As mentioned previously, opening this circuit will cause the inverters to turn off (isolate).
Note: If the inverter button is turned on and there are no reported alarms or faults and there is no voltage on the load output terminals, there is a high probability that the wiring for the shutoff components is currently open.
